Privacy Policy

Nardex.ai is an online platform for playing Backgammon and Narde (long backgammon), available on the web at nardex.ai and via the Android app Nardex (package ai.nardex.app) on Google Play. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site or the app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We collect the following categories of data:

• Account data — email address, username, and a password stored as a salted hash; we never store or see your password in plain text.
• Anonymous guest accounts — you can play without registering; guest accounts are identified by a device-bound token rather than personal data.
• Gameplay data — match history, moves, ratings, and analysis results produced by our AI engine.
• Preferences — interface theme, board skin, and language, so the app remembers your setup.
• Technical data — IP address and basic device/browser information (user agent) recorded in server logs for security and troubleshooting.

When you sign in, we issue a JSON Web Token (JWT) that authenticates your requests. The token and your interface preferences are stored in your browser's or app's local storage (localStorage). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

We use Google Analytics 4 and Yandex Metrika to understand how visitors use the site, and Sentry to capture crash and error reports from the app and server so we can fix bugs. These providers may set their own cookies or identifiers under their own privacy policies:

• We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
• We do not run advertising networks or ad targeting on the site or in the app.
• We do not collect payment data — the app has no in-app purchases or billing integration.

You can delete your account at any time from your profile's Danger Zone, in the app or on the web: this removes your personal data and anonymizes your game history, rather than deleting the underlying match records outright, so leaderboard integrity is preserved. If you'd rather not use that flow yourself, email support@nardex.ai and we'll take care of it.

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by writing to support@nardex.ai. We will review and act on verified requests within a reasonable time.

Nardex is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us at support@nardex.ai and we will remove it.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date; continued use of Nardex after an update means you accept the revised policy.
